Our 309S Sheet is strong with a minimum tensile strength of 586MPa, minimum yield strength of 310MPa and 202 HBN hardness. The UNS S30900 Plate also has a high temperature operating range up to 1038 degrees Celsius because of the high melting range of 1480 to 1530 degrees Celsius. Due to these properties, the UNS S30908 Coil is used in heat exchangers, boilers and super heater elements. The sheets and plates could be hot formed in the range of 1000 – 1150 degrees Celsius and cold formed as well.
